Skilled Worker Application - Canada

It is well known, that Canada accepts immigrants, on the merits of skilled trades, managerial level occupations, and professionals.

On June 26, 2010, Canada amended their laws in regards to skilled workers applications for permanent residence. The amendment includes a list of the acceptable occupations.  The assessment for a skilled worker application includes a 67-point assessment*, which includes items such as post-secondary education background, adequate work experience, age restrictions, the ability to communicate in either English or French and other languages.
